1 AND FIXING PENALTIES FOB THE FAILURE TO PAY SUCH LICENSES

I Section 1. Upon all automatic coin music boxes or nickeleons
I operated for profit in any~publi~place of busidess within the
I,
Town of Sewardl Alaska, there is hereby imposed an annual license
I in the sum of ,25.00 per year upon each and everyone of said
II music contrivance so operated for profit.
II Section 2. Such annual sum of $25.00 shall be paid in equal semi-
Ii annual payments in the amount of $12.50 each and shall be due and
I payable on the first day of April, 1940 and on the first day of
iloctober, 1940 and each and every year thereafter.
III Section 3. Upon the failure of any owner or operator of any such
Imusical contrivance, so operated for a profit as in this ordi-
nance defined, to pay such annual sum of $25.00 or of the semi-
Iannual installments thereof, the right to continue to to operate
such musical contrivance shall cease, and the Town of Seward,
I Alaska shall take into its posession and control and hold such
musical instrument as security for the payment of the unpaid lic-
lanse imposed thereon.
