RESOLUTION NO. 95-034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE CONTRACT WITH LAND
FIELD SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE
REMAINING PERMITS FOR COMPLETION OF PHASE II OF
THE TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Seward contracted with Land Field Services to acquire the
necessary permits and easements for the Transmission Line Project; and
WHEREAS, in order to complete Phase II of the Project, it is necessary to acquire
several additional permits not budgeted in the original contract; and
WHEREAS, funds for the acquisition of these permits are available in the Project
Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order to
the contract with Land Field Services in the amount of $11,579.76 to provide the services
set forth in the March 20 and 21, 1995, letters from P. J. Sullivan, copies of which are
attached and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
24th day of April, 1995.
