RESOLUTION NO. 95-045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE KPMG PEAT MARWICK
AUDIT CONTRACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995
WHEREAS, on May 29, 1990, the City of Seward approved a three-year professional
services agreement with KPMG Peat Marwick to provide audit services to the City of Seward;
and
WHEREAS, on May 10, 1993, the City Council approved a two-year extension of this,
agreement; and
WHEREAS, Peat Marwick has proposed providing audit services to the City and the
hospital for Fiscal Year 1995 for the sum of $62,000, with an option to extend audit services for
an additional four years at the 1995 base rate plus annual increases based on the Anchorage
Consumer Price Index;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract for audit services between the City of Seward and KPMG Peat
Marwick is hereby extended to provide audit services for the City and Seward General Hospital
for the year ended June 30, 1995.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 8th
day of May, 1995.
