RESOLUTION NO. 95-067
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM ALPAR
AND THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR A PARKS AND RECREATION YOUTH LITTER PATROL
WHEREAS, Seward Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded two
$1,800 grants from Alaskans for Litter Prevention and Recycling (ALPAR) and the Kenai
Peninsula Borough; and
WHEREAS, these grants will fund one youth litter patrol consisting on one adult
leader and four youth workers; and
WHEREAS, Council action is required to accept the grants and to appropriate the
funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Two $1,800 grants from ALPAR and the Kenai Peninsula Borough are
hereby ACCEPTED and appropriated to the ALPAR Special Project Revenue Account No.
215-2153-4680-0900.
Section 2. Funds totalling $3,600 are hereby appropriated to the ALP AR
Expenditures Budget Account No. 215-2153-XXXX as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
