CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-081
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, WAIVING PAST DUE FIELD MAINTENANCE
FEES INCURRED BY THE SEWARD LITTLE LEAGUE IN
THE AMOUNT OF $800
WHEREAS, during the FY 1992 budget work process, the City Council instructed
the administration to develop and charge user fees for use of the City's ball fields and
other public areas; and
WHEREAS, since that time, the Seward Little League Association has been
charged a $400 annual fee to cover costs to the City directly attributed to the Little
League program; and
WHEREAS, during the FY 1996 budget process, the City Council, at the request
of the Seward Little League, instructed the administration to waive this fee for the Little
League program, and the FY 1996 Parks and Recreation Department Budget was adjusted
accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Little League has now asked that the City waive the fees
billed, but not paid, for the FY 1995 and FY 1994 seasons;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Seward Little League Field Use Fees for Fiscal Year 1994 and Fiscal Year
1995, totalling $800, are hereby WAIVED.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of July, 1995.
