CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-082
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, WAIVING FORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURES
AND ISSUING A PURCHASE ORDER TO RESURRECTION RENTALS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,000 FOR PORT ABLE TOILET SERVICES
WHEREAS, during the FY 1996 budget process, the City Council confirmed its
desire to continue to contract portable toilet services with a local vendor; and
WHEREAS, the administration estimates the cost of such contracted services for
the FY 1996 season to be approximately $19,000; and
WHEREAS, only one local vendor provides such services; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to waive formal bid procedures tOY the ,.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Clp'
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: "" "
Section 1. Formal bid procedures for the purchase of contract portable toilet
services for City parks are hereby waived in accordance with SCC ~ 6.10.120.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue an open purchase order
not to exceed $19,000 to Resurrection Rentals for rent and maintenance of portable toilets.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of July, 1995.
