RESOLUTION NO. 86-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE SEWARD MARINE
INDUSTRIAL CENTER SEWAGE DISPOSAL FACILITY CAPITAL PRO..mS
ACCCXJNT TO THE GENERAL FUND-FUND BALANCE ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, on July 9, 1984, the Seward City Council approved
Resolution No. 84-77, appropriating $16,500 fran the General Fund fund
balance for a sewage treatrrent facility study for the Seward Marine
Industrial Center and the Spring Creek Correctional Center; and
WHEREAS, the study was performed by Pacific Management and
Engineering Corporation (PM&E), the design engineers for the prison; and
WHEREAS, the City has received the study from PM&E but has yet
to be invoiced for the work performed; and
WHEREAS, it is likely that the invoice for the study was
submitted to, and paid by, the state of Alaska;
New, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
$16,500 fran the SMIC Sewage Disposal Project Account No. 298-000-368-
04-00 to the General Fund Fund Balance Account No. 101-000-271-00-00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect irnrediately upon
its adoption.
