RESOLUTION NO. 86-70
A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, REQUESTING MUNICIPAL ASSISTANCE FRCM
THE STATE OF ALASKA
WHEREAS, AS 43.20.016 (a) requires the governing body of a
municipality to approve a resolution requesting municipal assistance
funding; and
WHEREAS, this resolution must be submitted to the Depar1::rrent
of Ccmnuni ty and Regional Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has a fiscal year beginning July 1
and ending on June 30; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is desirous of receiving municipal
assistance funding;
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCll.. OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Seward City Council, by this resolution,
hereby requests distribution of funding fran the municipal assistance
fund to the City of Seward, Alaska, by the Depar1::rrent of corrmmity and
Regional Affairs on the date required by law.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect imnediately upon
its adoption.
