RESOIlJTION NO. 86-71
A RESOIlJTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, 'ID AU..DiJ A CAMPER FOR SECURITY AT A
CCNSTRUCTION SITE
WHEREAS, Sarrwhan Arrerica, Inc., has requested permission for
one enployee to occupy a self-contained carrper on its construction site
for the Spring Creek Co=ectional Center to act as watchffi3.n and provide
for security for tools and equiprrent; and
WHEREAS, the location is easily accessible to unauthorized
persons and vehicles and cannot be ffi3.de secure; and
WHEREAS, the site contains various items of tools and equip-
ment attractive to vandals and thieves; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 21 of the Seward City Code permits one travel
trailer on a construction site for teIllJOrary living or as a work space
for a period not-to-exceed 90 days; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for Sanwhan Arrerica, Inc., to
ffi3.intain a construction site longer than 90 days;
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCll.. OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Sarrwhan Arrerica, Inc., will be permitted to allow
one enployee to occupy a fully self-contained camper on the Spring Creek
Correctional Center construction site to provide security for tools and
equiprrent during the prison construction period.
Section 2. Sarrwhan Arrerica, Inc., will pay to the City the
latest established daily carrping fee for the period the camper is
occupying the site.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect irrmediately upon
its adoption.
