RESOIlJTION NO. 86-75
A RESOIlJTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, DEl'ERMINING 'ID PROCEED WITH A SPECIAL
IMPRO\IEMENT DISTRICT CALLED THE GATEWAY SUBDIVISION WATER
TANK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-5
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Section
19A-4 of the Seward City Code to receive public corrment on the proposed
special irrproverrent district called Gateway Subdivision Water Tank
Assessrrent District No. 86-5; and
WHEREAS, after a full review by the City Council of all of the
facts and opinions presented, it is hereby found and determined that the
proposed special irrproverrent district is necessary and will benefit the
property assessed;
NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The special irrproverrent district called Gateway
Subdivision Water Tank Assessrrent District No. 86-5 to cover an area
described below shall proceed:
Lots 4-13 and 15-25, Block 1; Lots 1-19 and 2l-45,
Block 2; Lots 1-13, Block 3; Lots 1 and 4-16, Block
4; Lots 4-6, Block 6; Lots 1-13, Block 8; and Tracts
B, C-1, C-2 and C-3 (less 30% of unplatted Tract
C-3), all within the Gateway Subdivision, City of
Seward, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed with the fonnation of the special irrproverrent district known
as the Gateway Subdivision Water Tank Assessrrent District No. 86-5.
Section 3. The City Manager is further authorized and direct-
ed to keep account of all of the costs of the irrproverrent including
acquisition of interests in land for the irrproverrent, design, engineer-
ing, administration, overhead, professional services, guarantee fund,
bond costs and interest incurred as a result of the irrproverrent and all
other costs resulting from the construction of the irrproverrent.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect i.rmediately upon
its adoption.
