CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 86-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, COMMENDING THE 1898TH CSAC FOR ITS
PART IN MEETING THE EMERGENCY NEEDS OF THE CITY OF SEWARD
WHEREAS, the City of Seward experienced heavy flooding
on October 10-11, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the City sustained millions of dollars of
damage to public and private property; and
WHEREAS, the officers and men

THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City of Seward extends its eternal
gratitude to the officers and men of the 1898th CSAC for
their dedication to duty and their many sacrifices made in
meeting the emergency needs of the community during the
October 1986 flood.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
