CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is applying to the State of
Alaska for a Community Development Block Grant; and
WHEREAS, certain requirements must be met as part of
the application process; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward shall comply with Federal
and State laws applicable to the Community Development Block
Grant program and contained in the application incorporated
herein as "Attachment A";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Ronald A. Garzini, City Manager for the
City of Seward, Alaska, is authorized to submit this appli-
cation for a Community Development Block Grant to the State
of Alaska on behalf of the City of Seward.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
