CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE RECEIPT OF A GRANT
FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR THE SEWARD SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, Chapter 130, SLA 1986, Section 418, appropri-
ated the unexpended and unobligated balance of the appro-
priation made in Section 2, Chapter 24, SLA 924, Page 2,
Line 25 (Seward Senior Citizens Center - $250,000); and
WHEREAS, AS 37.05.315 requires that the city accept
this grant by ordinance or resolution of Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The grant of $191,773, for the purpose of
renovating the Senior Citizens Center, is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The sum of $191,773 is appropriated to
Capital Project Account No. 294000.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
