RESOLUTION NO. 95-090
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, RECLASSIFYING THE CLERK!
TYPIST POSITION IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the job duties for the Clerk/Typist position in the Fire Department have
increased in complexity and responsibility over the past year; and
WHEREAS, during the FY 1996 budget process, the Fire Department requested and
received funding to reclassify this position in recognition ofthe changes injob duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Clerk/Typist position in the Fire Department is hereby reclassified from a
Range 2 to a Range 4, and the salary for the position shall hereby be adjusted accordingly.
Section 2. The effective date of this reclassification shall be the first day of the pay period
following the approval date ofthis resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 14th day
of August, 1995.
