CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-051
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT FOR SMIC SEWER EXTENSION DESIGN
WHEREAS, a proposal for professional engineering
services was solicited from Corwin and Associates, Inc., to
design a sewer extension from the new Sewage Treatment Plant
to the Shiplift; and
WHEREAS, thi s is

WHEREAS, the Seward City Code exempts contracts for
professional services from the formal bid process; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the SMIC Sewer Utility
Account No. 241-243 to cover the cost of the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
award a professional services contract to Corwin and Associ-
ates, Inc., for the design of a sewer extension to the
shiplift for a contract amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
