CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-054
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR EXPENSES
ASSOCIATED WITH THE USS ALASKA'S VISIT TO SEWARD
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1987, the City Council approved an
appropriation totalling $2500 from the Council Contingency
Account to the Council Promotion and Entertainment Account
to cover expenses associated with the USS Alaska's port of
call visit to the city of Seward on July 2 - 7, 1987; and
WHEREAS, approximately $400 of these funds was expensed
in FY 1987; and
and
WHEREAS, the remaining $2100 lapsed on June 30, 1987;
WHEREAS, most of the expenses associated with the USS
Alaska visit to Seward were invoiced to the city following
the close of FY 1987;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
appropriate $2100 from the General Fund-Fund Balance Account
No. 101-000-271-00-00 to the Council Promotion and Enter-
tainment Account No. 101-111-511-10-73.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
