RESOLUTION NO. 95-094
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1
EXTENDING THE ELECTRICAL METER READING CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SEWARD AND DERRALD J.
HILDERBRAND THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1996
WHEREAS, on September 26, 1994, the City Council approved an electrical meter reading
contract between the City and Derrald 1. Hilderbrand; and
WHEREAS, the one year contract, expiring on September 30, 1995, has an option for up
to three one year extensions upon satisfactory performance and approval of the parties; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hilderbrand's performance has been satisfactory and he has agreed to a one
year extension of the contract through September 30, 1996;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract for electrical meter reading services between the City of Seward and
Derrald 1. Hilderbrand is hereby amended to change the expiration date of the contract to September
30, 1996.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute Amendment NO.1 to the above
referenced contract changing the expiration date thereof as stated above.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 28th day
of August, 1995.
