CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-068
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE RECEIPT OF A MUNICIPAL
ASSISTANCE GRANT FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR THE
PURPOSE OF A SENIOR/COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, the 1987 Legislature, through HB 29, Section
158, Page 59, Line 11, appropriated a $225,000 grant to
plan, design, construct and acquire land for a senior
citizens/community center; and
WHEREAS, AS 37.05.315 requires that the city accept
this grant by ordinance or resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The grant of $225,000 for the senior
citizens/community center is hereby accepted.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.

SEWARD, ALASKA, this 10 day of August , 19 87
