CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-081
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
BOARDWALK LAGOON PROJECT
WHEREAS, through the efforts of Dale Clemens and other
volunteers, funds were collected from the private sector to
purchase materials for the construction of a boardwalk along
the Lagoon located across from the Seward Small Boat Harbor;
and
WHEREAS,

the boardwalk was constructed utilizing

WHEREAS, the proj ect has had the support of the City
Council, the Chamber of Commerce and the residents of the
community; and
WHEREAS, an additional $2500 is needed to cover the
last of the invoices for materials used in the construction
of the boardwalk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city manager is authorized to appropri-
ate the sum of $2,500 from the General Fund Fund Balance
Account No. 101-000-271-00-00 to the Mayor and Council
Miscellaneous Account No. 101-111-511-10-79 for the purpose
of funding the balance due on materials used in the con-
struction of the boardwalk along the Lagoon.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 14 day of September , 19 87.
