RESOLUTION NO. R7 OCJ4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-050 BY
DROPPING THE REVERSIONARY LANGUAGE FROM THE QUIT CLAIM
DEED DISPOSING OF TWO BUILDINGS TO THE U. S. GOVERNMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 85-050 was approved by the City
Council with an amendment to include language in the quit
claim deed that required reversion of the two buildings to
the city if the U. S. Air Force ceased to use them; and
WHEREAS, the U. S. Air Force has stated that it will
not accept a deed with the reversionary language included;
and
WHEREAS, the city

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The amendment to Resolution No. 85-050
regarding reversionary language in the quit claim deed is
hereby rescinded.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.

~ QUITCLAIM DEED
KNOW ALL MEN 8Y THESE PRESENTS:
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is owner and hol der of record of certai n
. improvements on real property located in the City of Seward, Alaska, more
particularly described as follows:
Building No.1 (Army-Air Force messhall) and an unnumbered
20' x 40' quonset hut, both of which are located within Lot 7A,
Fort Raymond Subdivision Replat No.1, Seward, Alaska.
WITNESSETH:
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR
($1.00), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the City of Seward, Alaska,
a municipal corporation, does, by this quitclaim deed, grant and convey unto
the United States of America, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD fee simple title, together
with all and singular, the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belong-
ing or in any wise appertaining in and to the above-described buildings
located within Lot 7A, Fort Raymond Subdivision Replat No.1, Seward, Alaska.
