CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 87-101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A SURPLUS
STEEL BRIDGE TO THE CITY OF BETTLES
WHEREAS, the city is in possession of a steel truss
bridge which is surplus to the city's needs; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-42 of the City Code, the
city publicly advertised the sale of the surplus bridge; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received in response to the
public advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the city of Bettles, Alaska, submitted the
high bid of $2,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
dispose of the surplus steel truss bridge to the city of
Bettles, Alaska, for the sum of $2,000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 26th day of October , 19~.
