CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH
AAA FENCE FOR INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY FENCE
AT THE POLE YARD AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, an invitation to bid to provide and install a security fence and two gates at the
pole yard located at Mile 3.5 Seward Highway was properly advertised; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from three responsible and responsive bidders; and
WHEREAS, AAA Fence of Anchorage was the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, funds for the project were included in the FY96 Capital Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A contract in an amount not to exceed $23,478.88 to provide and install a security
fence at the pole yard located at Mile 3.5 Seward Highway is hereby awarded to AAA Fence.
Section 2. The Electric Substation Operations Improvements Account No. 501-5110-5930
is hereby increased in the amount of$23,479.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 28th day
of August, 1995.
