CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 88-003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPOINTING DARRYL SCHAEFERMEYER AS
INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND SETTING HIS SALARY
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted the resignation
of City Manager Ronald A. Garzini, effective December 31,
1987; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has appointed Darryl
Schaefermeyer to serve as Interim City Manager until a new
city manager can be selected and appointed by the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Darryl Schaefermeyer is hereby appointed
City Manager of the city of Seward, Alaska, to serve in that
capacity until another city manager is duly appointed by the
City Council.
Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED tha t Mr.
Schaefermeyer's salary shall be set at $5,109.73 per month,
effective January 4, 1988, and shall remain thus fixed until
the end of his term as Interim City Manager.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 11th day of Januarv , 19----8JL.
