RESOLUTION NO. 88-006
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL
FUND FUND BALANCE TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BUDGET
FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPLEMENTING AND MONITORING THE
BUSINESS ENHANCEMENT STRATEGY PLAN
WHEREAS, through the efforts

WHEREAS, the Seward Visitors Committee Steering Group,
with professional assistance, continues to be vital to the
success of a business enhancement program within the commu-
nity; and
WHEREAS, the envisioned business enhancement strategy
is key to completing a number of the goals and objectives
outlined in the Seward Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Hyett-Palma, Inc., has proved through its
facilitation of an enhancement strategy to be a reputable,
knowledgeable, and energetic firm;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $60,000 is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund Fund Balance Account No. 101-000-271-
00-00 to the Community Development Budget Account No.
101-115-516-10-39 for the purpose of hiring the firm of
Hyett-Palma, Inc., to provide professional assistance to
implement and monitor the enhancement plan for the Seward
business community.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 14 day of March , 19 88 .
