CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 88-010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE
COMMUNITY SWIM PROGRAM
WHEREAS, city of Seward Resolution No. 87-080 au-
thorized an appropriation of $13,000 from the General
Fund-Fund Balance to the Parks and Recreation Department
budget for the Community Swim Program; and
WHEREAS, the resolution failed to formally accept and
appropriate a total of $12,000 in matching funds to be
provided by the Tsunami Swim Club and the Community Pool
Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $12,000 is hereby accepted from
the Tsunami Swim Club and the Community Pool Fund and is
appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Department Swim
Program Account No. 101-117-517-19-56.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
