RESOLUTION NO. 88-035
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATION ~GREEMENT
WITH THE NORTH PACIFIC RIM HOUSING AUTijDRITY
,
WHEREAS, it is the policy of this loca)ity to eliminate
substandard and other inadequate housing, 'and to realize as
soon as feasible the goal of the decent ,i{omes in a sui table
living environment for all of its citiz s; and
WHEREAS, the North Pacific Housing Authority
(herein called the local authorit is a public housing
agency and will apply to the U.S. epartment of Housing and
Urban Development for a program ;feservation in connection
with the development of low-inco~ housing; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sec on 5(e) (2) and 6(d) of the
U.S. Housing Act of 1937, as amended, it is necessary that
the City Council of Seward, laska, enter into a Cooperation
Agreement with the local authority providing for local
cooperation in connecti with such low-income housing
projects;
