CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 88-053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE
HARBOR RESERVE ACCOUNT FOR NAVY HOMEPORTING
ATTRACTION EFFORTS
WHEREAS, the city desires to engage in an aggressive
effort to attract the U. S. Navy in its Alaska Homeport
survey; and
WHEREAS, this effort will require contracting with a
private firm to develop a two-part technical review presen-
tation and a videotape highlighting Seward's strengths and
capabilities; and
WHEREAS, funds

anticipated requirements of the city's
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $10,000.00 is hereby appropri-
ated from the Harbor Reserve Account to the U. S. Navy
Homeporting Special Revenue Fund Account No.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
