RESOLUTION NO. 88-072
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
GRANT A STEP INCREASE TO EACH CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE
OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, employees of the city of Seward no longer
receive automatic cost of living lncreases annually and have
not received such an increase since July 1, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to award an increase
in pay to the employees in the classified service without
affecting established pay ranges for classified positions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized and
directed to grant each employee in the classified service of
the city of Seward, Alaska, a two and one-half percent
(2.5%) step increase effective July 1, 1988.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect July 1,
1988.
