CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO, 88-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE SMIC
NORTH DOCK
WHEREAS, the voters of the city of Seward
sale of general obligation bonds to finance the
of the Seward Marine Industrial Center (SMIC)
and
approved the
construction
North Dock;
WHEREAS, the state legislature appropriated $100,000 to
provide utility extensions to the new dock; and
WHEREAS, expenditures and budgeted costs to construct a
complete and usable facility to meet the commitments to
potential commercial users exceeds available funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized to
appropriate the sum of $36,000 from the General Fund Fund
Balance to Project Account No. 232, and the budget is
amended accordingly.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 13 day of June , 19 88.
