RESOLUTION NO. 95-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR
SNOW PLOWING AND SANDING SERVICES FOR
NASH ROAD, SMIC AND LOWELL POINT ROAD
WHEREAS, a request for proposals to provide snow plowing and sanding services for Nash
Road, the SMIC area and Lowell Point Road and other on-call work; and
WHEREAS, METCO, Inc., submitted the only bid; and
WHEREAS, funds were budgeted in the Street Department to provide these services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract to METCO, Inc., to
perform on-call snow plowing and sanding services in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 for Nash
Road and the SMIC area and not to exceed $8,000.00 for Lowell Point Road.
