CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 88-097
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING A PRIOR RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL
WHICH AUTHORIZED CITY PARTICIPATION IN THE FISH TAX
CREDIT PROGRAM ON BEHALF OF SEWARD MARINE SERVICES
WHEREAS, on July 11, 1988, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 88-090, authorizing city participation in the
Fish Tax Credit Program on behalf of Seward Marine Services;
and
WHEREAS, this resolution did not specify the level of
participation authorized by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it was the intent of the City Council to
participate in the program at the maximum allowable level of
twenty-five percent (25%);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. City of Seward Resolution No. 88-090 is
hereby amended by repealing and recreating Section 1 to read
as follows:
Section 1. It is in the public interest to
participate in the state fish tax credit program
on behalf of Seward Marine Services at the maximum
allowable level of twenty-five percent (25%), and
the city manager is authorized and instructed to
execute such documents as may be required to
effect such city participation.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
