CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-008
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT-RURAL ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (CDBD-REDI) PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the city of Seward wishes to provide an Advanced
Life support Ambulance for use in the community; and
WHEREAS, the city of Seward is an applicant for a grant in
the amount of $100,000 from the Alaska Department of community
and Regional Affairs (hereinafter "Department"), under the
CDBG-REDI program;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city Manager is hereby authorized to
negotiate and execute any and all documents required for
granting and managing funds on behalf of the city of Seward.
Section 2. The city Manager is also authorized to execute
any subsequent amendments to said grant agreement to provide
for adjustments to the project within the scope of services or
tasks, based upon the needs of the project.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 23 day of January , 1989.
