RESOLUTION NO. 89-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE
GENERAL FUND-FUND BALANCE TO COVER TRAVEL AND
RELATED EXPENSES FOR THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION
IN KATFA 1989
WHEREAS, the city of Seward intends to participate in
the Korea/Alaska Trade Fair (KATFA) 1989; and
WHEREAS, city officials will use this opportunity to
encourage Korean investment in the Seward Marine Industrial
Center and to promote Seward as a tourist destination point
for Korean visitors to Alaska; and
WHEREAS, travel to Seoul and related expenses were not
included in the FY 1989 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Twenty
($20,000) is hereby appropriated from the
Balance to Account No. 101-111-511-10-73,
amended accordingly.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
