CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-048
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, DESIGNATING PATRICIA J. JONES
AS ACTING CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, City Clerk Linda S. Murphy will be out of Seward for
the period May 17 - June 2, 1989; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to appoint an acting
city clerk to fulfill Charter and Code mandated duties during her
absence;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. Patricia J. Jones is hereby appointed Acting City
Clerk and is authorized to perform all the duties of that office
during the absence of City Clerk Linda S. Murphy.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 22nd day of May, 1989.
