CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A COMMUNITY
SCHOOLS GRANT AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, each year the city receives a grant from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School
District for the operation of the Community Schools Program; and
WHEREAS, the city provides matching funds through the collection of participant fees and
administers the program; and
WHEREAS, the FY 1996 grant provides funding at a level equivalent to that received the
past several years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Kenai Peninsula Borough Community Schools grant in the amount of $7,000 is
hereby ACCEPTED.
Section 2. Funds in the amount of $7,000 from General Fund Grant Revenue Account No.
101-4360-0010 and funds in the amount of $7,000 from Community Schools Revenues, Account
Numbers 101-4470-xxxx, are hereby appropriated to Community Schools Expenditures, Account
Numbers 101-1422-XXXX.
Section 3. The Parks and Recreation Budget is amended by adding the following amounts
to department revenues and expenses:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 25th
day of September, 1995.
