RESOLUTION NO. 85-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A GRANT
FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR PRISON PLANNING
AND FINANCING ALTERNATIVE
WHEREAS, the 1985 Legislature appropriated Grant No. 8/86-300
in the amount of $25,000 for the Spring Creek Correctional Facility
Planning and Financing Alternative; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Administration
requires that the City accept the grant by ordinance or resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A $25,000 grant for the Spring Creek Correctional
Facility Planning and Financing Alternative is hereby accepted.
Section 2.

The City Manager is hereby authorized to
funds, upon receipt, into the Prison Planning
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
