CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 85-86
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF THE
DRAFT SEWARD COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SEWARD
WHEREAS, Alaska Statutes Section 29.33.085 provides for
overall review of the comprehensive plan every two years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward and the Kenai Peninsula Borough
have funded and contracted with CCC Architects Alaska to update the
Seward Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, through various public workshops, public surveys,
questionnaires, public hearings and public open houses, over 300 indi-
viduals have provided input for the comprehensive plan update; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission
has recommended that the draft plan be approved as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

recommendations be forwarded to the Kenai Peninsula
formal adoption.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
