CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE LEGAL BUDGET TO
REFLECT THE SETTLEMENT OF THE KRASNANSKY LITIGATION
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1995, the City Council authorized the settlement oflitigation
brought against the City by James Krasnansky; and
WHEREAS, the settlement agreement calls for payment to Krasnansky in the amount of
$12,700.00 to cover a portion of his legal costs in pursuing litigation; and
WHEREAS, there are insufficient funds within the Krasnansky legal subject matter budget
to cover the cost of the settlement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The FY 1996 legal budget is hereby amended by transferring the sum of $10,000
from legal subject matter No. 1001, General Government, Account No. 101-1115-5170-1001, to
legal subject matter No. 1024, Krasnansky v. City, Account No. 101-1115-5170-1024.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 9th day
of October, 1995.
