A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, DBI'ERMININ3 ro PROCEED WITH A SPOCIAL
IMPOOVEMENT DISTRIcr CALLED SANITARY SEWER DISTRIcr 86-2
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Section
19A-4 of the Seward City Code to receive public corrrrent on the proposed
special improverrent district called Sanitary Sewer District 86-2~ and
WHEREAS, after a full review by the City Council of all of the
facts and opinions presented, it is hereby found and detennined that the
proposed improverrent district is necessary and will benefit the property
assessed~
NeW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY mUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEI-JARD, ALASKA, that:
Section I. The special improverrent district called Sanitary
Sewer District 86 2 has been detennined to be in the public interest.
Section 2. Be it further resolved that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the formation of the
improverrent district.
Section 3. The City Manager is further authorized and direct-
ed to make an account of the costs of the improverrents including acxrui-
sition of interests in land for the improverrent, design, engineering,
administration, overhead, professional services, and any financing costs
incurred as a result of the improverrent and all other costs resulting
from the construction of the improverrent.
Section 4. The City Clerk is instructed to advertise a public
hearing levying the assessrrents for the improverrent district in accor-
dance with Section 19A-7 of the Seward City Code.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect imrediately upon
its adoption.
