RESOLUTION NO. 86-l2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD I ALASKA, DErERMINING TO PROCEED WITH A SPOCIAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT CALLED OFFSITE WATERMAIN E}ITENSION DISTRICT 86-4
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Section
19A-4 of the Seward City Code to receive public corment on the proposed
special irrprovement district called Off site Watermain Extension District
86-4; and
WHEREAS, after a full review- by the City Carmcil of all of the
facts and opinions presented, it is hereby formd and detennined that the
proposed irrprovement district is necessary and will benefit the property
assessed;
NOV, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section I.
Watermain Extension

The special irrprovement district called Offsite
District 86-4 has been detennined to be in the
Section 2. Be it further resolved that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the formation of the
irrprovement district.
Section 3. The City Manager is further authorized and direct-
ed to rrake an accormt of the costs of the irrprovements including acqui-
si tion of interests in land for the irrprovement, design, engineering,
administration, overhead, professional services, and any financing costs
incurred as a result of the irrprovement and all other costs resulting
from the construction of the irrprovement.
Section 4. The City Clerk is instructed to advertise a public
hearing levying the assessrrents for the irrprovement district in accor-
dance with Section 19A-7 of the Seward City Code.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect irnrrediately upon
its adoption.
