RESOLUTION NO. 86-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE SEWARD
CHAMBER OF C<:M-1ERCE
WHEREAS, the Seward ChaIrber of Ccmrerce has requested a
contribution from the City in the am:lUnt of $12,500.00 in order to
maintain its operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Chamber of Comrerce would have to dissolve
without funds for its operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward considers the Charrber of Comrerce
an effective and useful organization for the businesses of the
conmunity;
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
the General Fund-Fund Balance Account No.
the Charrber of Comrerce Contribution Account N;).
Section l.
$12,500.00 from
lOI-000-271-00-00 to
lOI-ll5-516-12-61.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect i:mrediately upon
its adoption.
