RESOlUTION NO. 86-l9
A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF SEWARD. ALASKA.
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ADDITIONS TO OFFSITE IMPROVEMENTS
FOR GATEWAY SUBDIVISIONS
WHEREAS. the City Council. by adoption of Resolution No. 84-65.
has approved transfer of the Gateway Subdivision property to Gateway
Ventures. Inc; and
WHEREAS. Gateway Ventu res has constructed certain offs ite
improvements. pursuant to the agreements between the City and Gateway
Ventures. for which the City has reimbursed Gateway Ventures. Inc.; and
WHEREAS. the City Council. by adoption of Resolution No. 84-52.
appropriated $733.000 for the purpose of funding offsite improvements
construction as a part of the development of Gateway Subdivision; and
WHEREAS. Gateway Ventu res constructed certa i n work outs i de the
scope of the development agreement. which work includes a dropped manhole.
water tank anode clips. boundary survey. and assessment district calcu-
lation; and which work provided benefits to the City for which Gateway
Ventures is entitled to be compensated; and
WHEREAS. the additional work exceeds the approved appropriation of
$733.000 by approximately $17.317.64; and
WHEREAS. the City has funds in the General Fund-Fund Balance which
can be made available for the purpose of meeting the City's additional
obligations pursuant to the agreement authorized by Resolution No. 84-65;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD. ALASKA. that:
Section 1. The General Fund-Fund Balance Account No.
101-600-271-00-00 is hereby decreased by $17.317.64.
Section 2. The Gateway Subd i vis i on Offs ite Improvement Account
No. 299-000-368-04-00 is hereby increased by $17.317.64.
