CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-070
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT
OF PATRICIA JONES AS DEPUTY CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, Section 2.20.045(7) authorizes the City Clerk to
appoint deputies upon approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 1990 budget for the city of Seward
provided for the creation of a Deputy City Clerk position within
the City Clerk's department; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has appointed Patricia Jones to the
Deputy City Clerk position contingent upon confirmation of the City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The appointment of Patricia Jones as Deputy City
Clerk, beginning July 1, 1989, is hereby confirmed by the City
Council.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 10th day of July, 1989.
