CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 84-93
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES
WITHOUT FULL UTILIZATION OF THE BID PROCEDURES SET FORTH
IN SECTION 10-8 OF THE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City Electric Department has solicited price
quotations for needed inventory from the six major suppliers in the
State; and
WHEREAS, a busy construction season, coupled with low invento-
ry, makes it imperative that these needed items be purchased and de-
livered in the shortest time possible; and
WHEREAS, strict adherence to the bid procedures as set forth
in Section 10-8 of the City Code would be both costly and time consum-
ing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
