RESOLUTION NO. 82-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ESTABLISHING A LATE
PAYHENT PENALTY CHARGE FOR DELINQUENT SHALL
BOAT HARBOR ACCOUNTS.
WHEREAS, Section 5-80 of the Code requires boat owners
using any harbor facility or service to pay the charges
established by resolution of the City Council~ and
WHEREAS, Section 5-80.1 of the Code requires the City
Council to set service fees for approved uses of the Small Boat
Harbor~ and
fees~
WHEREAS, the City wishes to encourage prompt payment of
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. All Small Boat Harbor accounts if not paid
in full within twenty (20) days will be subject to a late payment
penalty charge of one and one-half percent (1 1/2%) per month of
the balance due and owing, not to exceed eighteen percent (18%)
per year. This penalty charge will not apply to state or federal
government accounts.
Section 2. The charges established by this resolution
will become effective September 1 , 1982.

SEWARD, ALASKA, this 9th day of August , 1982.
