CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 84-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE RECEIPT OF A GRANT
FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR THE PLANNING AND
DESIGN OF A SENIOR/COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, SCS CS 619 (Finance), page 2, line 24, appropriates
$250,000 for the purpose of planning and designing a Senior/Community
Center; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Community and Regional Affairs
Housing Assistance Division requires that the City accept this grant by
ordinance or resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A $250,000 State grant for the planning and design
of a Senior/Community Center is accepted.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 13 day of August , 1984
