CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 84-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNGIL OF THE GITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC SIDEWALKS
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting of June 25, 1984, the City
Council approved Resolution No. 84-61, appropriating funds for sidewalk
repair and construction; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department solicited bids for
said sidewalk construction and repair; and
WHEREAS, a total of three bids were received from qualified
contractors; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder was Liberty Way with a bid of
$11,350.00; and
WHEREAS, this figure exceeds the $8,000 previously budgeted
and appropriated for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
the General Fund-Fund Balance Account No.
to the Engineering Maintenance Repair Account No.
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized to issue a
purchase order not-to-exceed $11,350.00 to Liberty Way of Seward, Alaska
for the construction of public sidewalks.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
