CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING
CITY OF SEWARD RESOLUTION NO. 82-57 IDENTIFYING THE CAPITAL PROJECTS AND
AMOUNTS ALLOCATED TO EACH PROJECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH AS37.05.315.
WHEREAS, AS37.05.315 requires a resolution identifying projects
and the amounts of money allocated to each project, as well as the
total entitlement for the City, and
WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive $257.50 for each of the
1,843 people residing within its boundaries, plus an additional $3.92,
for a total of $474,576.42, and
WHEREAS, on July 26, 1982, the Seward City Council approved
Resolution 82-57 appropriating funds to various local projects, and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council wishes to amend those appropriations
as cited in Resolution 82-57 by reducing the appropriation for the
Lowell Creek Diversion Tunnel Bridge Replacement by $34,920; and adding
$34,920 for the Lowell Canyon Sewer Line.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. The $474,576.42 received under the State Assistance
for Municipalities Program for the year 1982-83, is proposed to be
expended as follows:
Lowell Creek Diversion Tunnel Engineering
Dairy Hill Sewer Engineering
Lowell Canyon Sewer Line
Lowell Creek Diversion Tunnel Bridge Replacement
$226,600.00
169,950.00
57,580.00
20,446.42
$474,576.42
Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately upon its
adoption.
