CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 84-111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING REVENUE DEPOSIT FEES
FOR THE SALE OF INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS FOR SUNEEL
ALASKA CORPORATION TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has received $23,750.00 from
Suneel Alaska Corporation as the City's fee for the sale of Industrial
Revenue Bonds in support of the coal export project; and
WHEREAS, Suneel Alaska Corporation has asked that, if possi-
ble, those funds be used to continue Seward's progressive stance toward
economic development, especially with the Pacific Rim countries; and
WHEREAS, the City does anticipate expenditures in the near
future for advertising and promotion in search of a leasee/operator for
the Marine Industrial Center; and
WHEREAS, economic events in Seward are changing so rapidly
that promotional materials are becoming dated and will require updating
in the near future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The FY85 budget of the City of Seward is hereby
amended by transferring $15,000.00 from the General Fund-Fund Balance
Account No. 101-00-271-00-00; and $8,750.00 from the Miscellaneous
Administrative Revenue Account No. 101-00-341-90-00 to the Economic
Development Department Budget Account No. 101-115-516-10-73.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.

ALASKA, this 24 day of September , 19 84.
