RESOLUTION NO. 82- 74
.
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RATES FOR SEWER USE
WHEREAS, the City of Seward established rates for sewer use
by adopting City of Seward Resolution No. 81-28; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the schedule of
rates to provide greater equity in the rates charged:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Schedule of rates for sewer use shall be amended
as follows:
(A) Sewer Connection Inspection Fee:
1. All Classes of Users
$100.00 (per service
connection)
(B) Residential or Domestic Service Within the City Limits.

Any user not listed above shall be billed at a fair and
equitable rate, based on a unit rate of $12.00/month
established for an average monthly flow of 10,000
gallons with BOD and SS loading of 250 mg/l.
Section 2. Resolution No. 81-28 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. The rates set forth in this resolution shall
be retroactive to September 1, 1981.
